SANTOS'S HOUSE OF HOPE – JERUSALEMA DANCE CHANLLENGE

Casa da Esperança de Santos released a video of the Jerusamela challenge in support of health professionals who remain on the front line facing COVID-19. The institution, which also belongs to the health area, serves hundreds of children with physical, intellectual and/or sensory disabilities. These patients are part of the risk group and need regular treatment to improve their quality of life.

The “Jerusalemma” challenge is enjoying worldwide success and has become the European summer hit, characterized by the coronavirus pandemic. The lyrics carry a message of hope to five continents. The hit belongs to the South African Master KG and was released in December 2019. The song, in the South African Zulu language, is a request for protection.

The choreography was created by Angolan dancers from Fenómenos do Semba, during the lunch to commemorate the group's five years. Due to the pandemic, they couldn't do the commemorative show, so they created this super relaxed and fun choreography.

With the increase in Covid-19 cases in Brazil, Casa da Esperança de Santos is even more concerned about its patients and the entire community. And as we are arriving in the last days of the year, the institution decided to honor all health professionals.
