Another edition of the Rumo project was carried out by the Rotary Club of Santos. The event took place in the auditorium of SEDUC (Santos Department of Education).
Through a survey, carried out previously, with students of the 9th year of elementary school in the public school system, the professional areas of greatest interest among students were selected. Through this, the Rotary Club of Santos, in partnership with SEDUC, prepared a program of lectures in these chosen areas to be presented to students.
"Health"
This year, the project was divided into two days. On the first day, May 27, lectures on “engineering” and “health” were given, given by Alexandre Alonso and Companheiro Charles Dias, respectively. On this day, about 180 students were present.
On the second day, June 4th, lectures on “Advocacy” and “Business Administration” were given, given by Partners Marcelo Marsaioli and Tiago Marsaioli, respectively.
About 100 students were present, totaling about 280 students affected by the project.
Rumo is one of the main permanent projects of the Rotary Club of Santos. The next edition of the project is already being planned, and is expected to reach an even greater number of young people and teenagers.
